Датчик диаметра филамента

электрическую схему приложил.

Пищалка с генератором, на 6 ноге опция, срабатывает при выходе диаметра за допуск совместно с 7 ногой, для подключения к входу рампс о окончании филамента

Уже сжелал 🙂 рисую прошивку итак , основа датчика ДВА датчика холла ss49e (20 гр) за пару дальше пара подшипников 626 , это еще 20 гр и ардуина , взял нано , но можно и тини85 обойтись

Снял видео, в основном переэкструзия шла, диаметр около 1.79 - 1.81 но и были моменты просадки до 1.7  при печати пластик от 3dua.com хуже у меня нету 🙂   https://youtu.be/deGWmAC938M

Hello! Sorry, I cannot speak russian 🙈.

I found this forum via github and I hope maybe someone can help me with my hall sensor.

I redesigned it to use small MR95ZZ bearings, I had spares left from a titan extruder.

With filament inserted and sensor calibrated I get filament width of 2.57124720952 mm 😆 .. it obviously should be near 1.75 mm.

I'm unsure if I even connected everything right.

First of all, I think the sensors work correctly, I probed gnd and both sensor pins and if I move a magnet past the sensors, the voltage changes.

I have a Bigtreetech SKR E3 Turbo board and I try using the RX0 and TX0 pins on the TFT port. And in klipper as adc1 I use P0.2 and as adc2 P0.3.

Does anyone know if that is even correct? I think it's ok, because if I insert/remove filament the value changes.

It's hard to find informations on all that.

 

Now my idea is, maybe the placement of the magnet in my redesign is just wrong. Attached is my redesign.

Can anyone help me? Would be really cool to get that sensor working.

And after the sensor modification, did you calibrate the diameter with drills?

Yes I did.

🤔 Now I think..maybe only one adc pin in klipper is correct, the second one not.. I cannot find a pinout for klipper pins with skr e3 turbo anywhere.

..It's easy with all the pins with numbers, e.g. E0-Stop Pin 1.26. In klipper it's P1.26... but this pin doesn't work, says not a valid adc pin.

For debug i have command QUERY_RAW_FILAMENT_WIDTH

This command show raw adc value for both pins

You can try check raw walues on different dril rods and copy log from printer terminal here

I did and get these values:

Raw_dia1: 13101 # with drill bit 1.5 mm
Raw_dia2: 13481  # with drill bit 2 mm

As I understand it, these readings need to be entered into the configuration.

I recalibrated and now I get Filament dia (measured mm): 1.85878553336

Much better but still a bit off.

 

Now I know my redesign is not good. I also have to find a more reliable way to calibrate.
